Hello Spring

Top: Target Neiman Marcus Lela Rose Collection. Jeans: Sevens of All Mankind. Shoes: Nine West via Nordstrom Rack. Watch: Guess. Crossbody: Kate Spade NY. Sunnies: Old Navy. All Images: Danielle Greene.

Hello lovelies! Happy Hump Day! So sorry I've been MIA for the past couple of weeks. I've recently started with a new team and department at work, and I'm in the process of planning a fashion show for this summer so my schedule has been slammed. I'll share more about this later so stay tuned! Thanks so much for understanding and bearing with me during this busy time. Sunday, Mother Nature gave us a little bit of a spring tease, and I took full advantage. There is something sweet and peaceful about a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The parks were crowded with families, dogs, and runners all soaking in the suns rays and fresh, warm air. Sunday was only a taste of all the amazingly, warm weather that is to come and I cannot wait. Light-weight, detailed tanks are an essential closet staple to have during this transition to spring. Tanks like these easily pair with boyfriend jeans, like I styled here or with a lightweight pair of hareem pants. When the weather isn't in the mood to be finicky (which has been rare these last couple of days), it makes picking out the perfect outfit a piece of cake. Are you guys ready for warmer weather? What styles are you excited about wearing?

Navy is the New Black

Dark Denim Jeans: The Gap. Navy Sweater: The Gap. Crossbody: Kate Spade. Plaid Blanket Scarf: Fiore Boutique. Floppy Hat: Versona. Nude Peep Toe Booties: Nine West

While black on black will always and forever remain classic, timeless and slimming...these days I'm really loving the navy on navy combo. It gives you the same slimming affect, but with more of a wintry warmth. For me, the winter season is all about layers, warm neutrals, blanket scarves and floppy hats. You can always find one or more of these elements in my day to day casual attire during the winter months. I scored this blanket scarf at a local boutique here in Charlotte. I've been seeing this plaid number all over social media so it was a no-brainer when I laid eyes on it. It's cozy, versatile and can be paired with solid neutrals, or I also have the option to pattern mix- my favorite :) What's your signature winter piece?

Stripes X Animal Print

Black & White Stripped Tee: Old Navy. Black Leather Midi Skirt: French Connection- Belk. Gold & Black Necklace: Old Navy. Leopard Print Pumps: Nine West. Handbag: Marshalls

If someone could please tell me how we are already in the month of December that would be great. K thanks! Crazy to think that the year is almost over. It's the most wonderful time of the year! I get so giddy just thinking about the pure joy and magic of the holidays. The music, the shopping (for others of course ;)), the smell of fresh evergreen, and cheer in the air. It's almost more than my little heart can handle before bursting with excitement that Christmas time is finally here. AND, my birthday is right around the corner! December 13th to be exact. I'm accepting any and all forms of love offerings :) With the holidays comes the stress of figuring out what to wear to holiday parties. Us girls will look into a closet full of clothes and claim that we have nothing to wear. Oh, I've been there. Many times. Leather continues to be a chic trend for the winter and holiday season. I absolutely love the fit and flare of this French Connection leather midi skirt from Belk. Pattern mixing continues to be one of my favorite ways to really make an outfit pop. I paired this leather midi with a white and black stripped cotton tee and my new, Nine West leopard printed pumps. Holiday parties don't necessarily mean that you have to wear sparkle from head to toe because not everyone loves sparkle. This is a simple yet chic look that could easily go from work wear to holiday party glam. What trends are you guys loving for the holidays?
