OTK Boots: Sam Edelman via Belk. Floral Print Dress: Marshalls. Crossbody: Kate Spade NY. Arm Green Utility Vest: Dots Fashion. Necklace: Old Navy. Sunglasses: Old Navy

Although we are all hopeful for warmer temps, if you live in North Carolina like me, there isn't a guarantee that spring weather is here to stay until like early April. But that's okay, because Mother nature is giving me a good 2 weeks to get my wear out of these amazing OTK boots. I kept seeing this trend everywhere all throughout the holidays, and could not wait to get my hands on a pair. I first spotted these Sam Edelman booties on the beautiful Brittany Lapin over at Southern Meets Chic and just had to have them. What I love about OTK boots is that they can be worn throughout all of fall, winter and early spring depending on where you live. They are a great investment and now is the perfect time to catch them on major sale. When wearing them in the early  spring months, I make sure that other parts of my outfit are more appropriate for the possibility of the day getting warmer. You know, so I'm not dressed for a blizzard when it's 70 degrees out or vice versa. This floral print shift dress from Marshalls has been perfect for those days where it starts out really chilly, but ends up being nice once I get off from work. All of my bases are covered for how finicky we know the weather to be, especially if you live in the South. How do you guys dress for unpredictable weather?
